My third is very good!
The first two were unacceptable/highly problematic and were returned. IDK what's up with Moog's quality control but the issues with the first two units should have been noticed and the units pulled and corrected as necessary. Sweetwater was GREAT. I called them and they immediately two day aired me the replacement both times. Couple things with the third; you have to press the black keys about twice as hard as the white keys to activate atfertouch which is, so far been almost two weeks, really difficult to use because you may just want a little vibrato via aftertouch but you have to push so hard on the black keys you can't just get a little, not when you're used to the white ones and then you play too hard on the white keys. I'm thinking I'll simply not be able to use the aftertouch or simply MIDI into it with my Yamaha EX5 and see how aftertouch works with it. And the keybed's not wonderful as it is in general. The LCD screen feels like you could easily put your finger/thumb through it. It sounds great though and would get 5 stars if it weren't for the key bed. It's really worth it for the sound. Incredible synth!
This synth has found its way into most my mixes from day one. The knob per (most) function(s) makes this a great synth to learn about subtractive synthesis. My only gripe is it only has a (multiple pole) lowpass filter. I knew what I was buying. But being able to have a high pass or band pass filter on this beast would make it so much more versatile. Este sintetizador es todo un instrumento musical, ofrece excelentes prestaciones (secuenciador, arpegiador, presets, memorias, etc), con él se logra sonidos muy cálidos y con timbres redondos, también logra sonidos complejos y muy interesantes con aires salvajes y agresivos. Está construido con mucha solidez, su teclado tiene un excelente tacto, suave pero firmes (tiene sensibilidad a la fuerza y la velocidad), y sus perillas y botones son fuertes y resistentes.
