Great price-to-performance ratio in 2020
This is a fast set of processors. They sport 6 cores and 12 threads each, the highest in the E5-2600 v2 line. Among those 6C/12T v2 Xeons, these CPUs also have the highest clock rate available. In short, these are the top-of-the-line model for applications that benefit from multithreading. Excellent CPU Upgrade for Mac Pro for the money.
I upgraded my late 2013 Mac Pro cylinder with this, took a few hours and was worth it. Also upgraded to 64gb of memory. And upgraded to 1tb pcie nvme blade Also just upgraded to macOS Mojave, and this feels like a brand new machine. I'm Very Pleased with this purchase.
