    Definitely an upgrade!

    Between this router & the modem I recently purchased, the stress level has gone down significantly in our household. We have a family of 5 & live in a 2200 sq ft open floor plan ranch home with a finished concrete (all walls) basement. Reception in the basement was horrible & intermittent & we were having issues overall in the house. We were even having issues when were sitting 10 feet away from our old router, which was an older, lower grade Netgear modem. I will say we did have some issues getting it initially set up, but we finally determined that if we plugged in our computer, using the Ethernet port, into the router, versus using the WPS, the set-up went much smoother and faster. I wouldn't recommend, nor rely, on the WPS signal to first set this up.

    Finally got the router in, came in about a day earlier than I thought it would, easy to set up, and WOW this router is by far the best router I've ever used! Thank you for the excellent price and perfect shipping to make this my best purchase of 2017! The range on this thing is about 100-150 radius feet from the router itself.( I tested it). The signal and bandwidth doesn't stagger no matter what I do.     A great router!

    Router was in "like new" condition and works perfectly. I did upgrade the firmware to the latest version, and that worked fine. It WAS a little confusing when trying to by-pass the configuration "wizard" and access the router interface directly. However, I was able to do this and it is now easy to update any router settings as necessary.

    Nice router, runs a bit warm

    The WiFi router has performed well so far. The router has enhanced my wired and wireless Internet connections. The Genie app make the initial router setup very easy and the browser interface to the router (for more detailed configuration, changing admin password, etc.) is so much better than that of my "ancient" router. It is summer where I live -- in my tiny home office, the router seems to warm up the room a few Fahrenheit degrees. Keep the "warming effect" in mind if you have options for router placement. Also, there a lots of *very bright* LEDs on the router which are on by default to indicate wired network status, wireless network status, connections, etc. It is worth mentioning again these LEDs are very bright. Router configuration allows you to turn off some or all of the LEDs.
