Sony Playstation Pulse Elite Edition
My headset is in brand new condition with protective film still in place. I did however notice the USB cable used to charge it is missing. Not a huge deal, the missing cable is really short and I had a micro USB cable already. The headset itself is great. I have a large head and it is very comfortable for me. Friends say mic sounds better than the "silver" headset I was previously using. The pulse gimmick is just that, but not annoying. Volume is a little low, but I feel the speakers need some more time to break in. Sound mixer for voice and game sound is a godsend. And all the controls on the cups of the headset are easy to memorize and adjust on the fly. Overall I am happy with the price I paid for what I got.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good, but not enough bass.
Ive been curious about these headphones for awhile, so I finally bought them. Straight out of the box, they felt pretty good. The construction is pretty solid, and they feel good on my head (and I have a big head, so some phones don't fit right). They are a little heavy for headphones, but personally, I don't mind. I can play for a 2 hours or so, and it never became an issue. As for the "Rumble" feature, it does add quite a bit to the experience. But at lower volumes, the rumble can be distracting. But at louder volumes, its awesome for shooting, explosions, car engines, etc. Over all, Im pretty happy with them. My only issues are that for one, they aren't as loud as I like. And two, besides the rumble feature, there isn't much bass. Most of the different settings, don't change the sound at all. All it does is change the "Rumble", ie: one setting will make it rumble only when there is a shot fired, explosion, etc. Where another setting, EVERYTHING will make it rumble, even a characters voice. I keep it set on :game;, and that seems to be best for all games. If deep bass, and loud volume is your thing (like me), I would keep doing your homework, and find something else. These are good, but they just don't have that deep pounding bass, and don't get very loud.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I love the way they feel on my head!
The sound is amazing, but I have to take them off from time to time to look at the volume controls and other controls. The worst thing about them is the battery life. I guess that's the issue with most of Sony's stuff right now. I have to use the PS3 to charge it. But I do love the phones though. Best ones I've used.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent Sound and Rumble Boost
These are the best set of headphones that I have owned! If you watch movies then set the mode to movie mode. If you game, then I recommend game mode and not shooter mode because the rumble on shooter mode just gets on your nerves after awhile lol but playing BF4 in game mode with the bass boost all the way up is amazing!!! Pulse is delicate but worth it.
This is the most comfortable and best sounding headphones I have ever owned(Although I've never owned a Beats By Dre product). It comes with both wired and wireless capabilities. When connected through the Playstation you can choose from multiple sound modes to maximize you experience. The sound configurations are pre-programmed to such categories as; Movie, Music, Sports, Shooter Game, Racing Game, etc. And you can connect through an App on Playstation to download even more sound profiles. Now for the negative; I just bought my 3rd set in the last 6 years which highlights both how much I like them and how quickly they wear out if not taken care of. In both my previous sets the headphones started to crack just under the silver circle above the ear. Over time the crack became cracks and continued to become bigger cracks until the ear piece broke off. If you don't wear glasses I would suggest Sony's newer headsets that fold inward so that you don't have to worry about the set breaking off at the ear, however, I wear glasses and those models pinch the stems of my eyeglass frame against my ears. I can't stress enough how comfortable the Pulse headset is. You'll forget you're wearing them. But make sure you find a great place to store them safely.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great headset
Great headset only problem his that it doesn't come with a USB to charger. If you don't have one laying around your house you will have purchase 1, I prefer to use it more than the gold it's more steardy . Pulse Elite!
This is the best headset for PS3 or PS4 money can buy! I bought the newest and most expensive set to replace my broken pulse elite. What a mistake! Flat sounds, nothing like these. Excellent wireless headphones for all uses.
I have these headphones hooked directly to the tv. I wanted this version of the playstation headsets because it can turn all devices with an audio jack wirelessly. However I am not using the 3.5mm audio cables that came with the box. I'm using the red and white rc cables to 3.5mm audio jack. So, for tv uses I just mute the tv and turn the headset on. They work flawlessly. Playstation is connected to tv via hdmi but I get all the sound through the tv so other devices like pc and whatnot are working perfectly through this headset.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Oldie but Goodie
The Pulse Elite wireless headset was released for the PS3 back in 2012. It was priced at $150 and that was too high. I bought a pair for my PS3 when it dipped below $90 and thought that it was great especially the strong but adjustable base. When the PS4 came out, there was a 3.5mm jack on the controller for a wired headset so you didn't really need a wireless headset... but having a wireless headset was still nice When the PS4 first came out, this Pulse Elite headset did not work on the PS4 so I bought the cheaper Sony Gold wireless headset and didn't like it as much. Fast forward to 2016, the PS4 has been updated (for a while now) to support this older Pulse Elite headset so if you can find this awesome headset for about $35, it's a no brainer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
