More complicated than I had thought and is it worth the effort...I suspect not. Would I do it again...probably not.
I found the machine more noisy than I had anticipated and one needs a butler's pantry in whihc to store it. The biggest disappointment was the lack of recipes. I would have thought that with such an expensive machine it would have come with many recipes but sadly not the case. Seems there are two types of ice cream - simple inc creams and "custard' style ice creams whhc use 5 eggs and take time and are COMPLICATED. The lack of variety in recipes is a serious issue so far as I am concerned and I went onto the net looking for recipes for the Cusinart machine but this didn't really improve the situation. This ice cream maker works really well, and unlike some reviews we have not found it to be noisy. It is easy to operate. One tip is to clean any moisture from the bottom of the bowl and the machine before use, otherwise it can freeze and the ice crystals make it squeak Only downside is that it is heavy and needs quite a lot of space but that is necessary, not a fault but it needs to be planned for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
