    It does work

My 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible with over 160,900 miles had an engine oil seal leak. The car mechanic who regularly services my car said that fixing the leak would cost $1300 -$1500 and that based on the age and mileage of the car, it was not worth repairing. Several weeks before, it happened that I watched a video on YouTube by a person to whom I subscribe that tested various types of products one of which included engine oil sealants. He compared the different manufacturer products showing how he tested them and the results he got from these tests. Among the sealant products was ATP AT-205 Sealant. He showed that this product was the best in sealing the leak by rejuvenating the seals tested. Another person, a car mechanic of over 50 years, to whom I also subscribe said, based on his years of experience, that the ATP TP-205 product was the best even though it was somewhat expensive. Based on the reviews of these two men whose advice I trust, I thought I would gamble on the ATP AT-205. If it worked I would save a bundle of money. If it didn't work, then I was out roughly $20. All I had to do to stop the leak was add 1 container of the product and drive. It claimed to stop the leak after 5 hours of driving. After 2 days of just under driving a total of 4 hours, there was still a sign of leaking but it did not look like oil but rather the APT AT-205 on the ground. After 1 more day and 2 more hours of driving, the ground under the engine was dry. After another 2 hours of driving today, the ground is still dry. So it appears the ATP AT-205 has kept its promise by doing its job. Hopefully, this will continue to work for another 100,000 miles of driving or till I get another car.

    Didn't work for me

ATP AT-205 - seems like a good idea but it didn't work for me - that doesn't mean it won't work for you, I just thought I had nothing to lose - the leak is still there and about the same as it was before I used it - there is no promise that this will work - it even says on the bottle, it it still leaks after 5 hours of use, you should seek out a professional auto tech. so basically, leaky seals it will likely fix, damaged seals, it won't - you won't know that until you try this product or remove and replace the actual seal.

  • hybrid with leak gone

I have watched this blog about this product from Scotty Kilmer and I’m glad this is available on eBay. I have better peace of mind now knowing my oil leak has stopped totally or been contained mostly. Either way it’s good for the engine health of a lifetime!

Stuffs like gold. I used it to recondition the rubber fittings on my old car…. The various boots and rubber suspension parts. I threw the rest in my oil for my leak.

  • It seems to work on Freelander 1 KV6

Bought this for a freelander 1 KV6 rear crankshaft seal leaking for years. At one point the leak was serious and then mitigated with addition of stp stop leak product. The main difference I felt was at idle the vibrations from engine compartment was reduced noticeably. However after a year or so the leak once again started and the idle vibrations became annoying. So I have been waiting for the atp product ever since I saw the reviews and Klimer's video. i poured 1/4 bottle into engine and then it run idle for a few minutes. After overnight sitting still I started the car again and it runs very smoothly both at cold and warm idling conditions. Perhaps it also does good to some other gaskets I hope the effect can last longer and will continue to monitor the leak, if any... Joint between JF506E gearbox and IRD seems to be weak spot as well, might try to add some in the future.

  • Great if used properly

ATP AT-205 is great for other reasons than just a sealer. I use it to all the rubber boots and bushing to keep them in tip top condition. Will stop then perishing to soon if they are not already showing to much signs of wearing. Only issue is with production stopped it is pricy now..

  • good juice!

I don't use this in my engine. My 2010 Suzuki only has 18'000miles.I'm retired. I do use this treatment on my rubber components on the suspension, steering and windshield wipers. So far, has prevented drying, cracks, etc. Rubber is like new. I clean my wipers with alcohol, then apply at-205. Wipers last 2x longer and clean better :)

  • Can't see it, taste or touch. I believe!

I "had" two valve steams leaking #1& #3 in a 2.5I Forester, little over 100k on it. I put half a bottle in my motor. Five days later I cleaned out the steams and changed out the plugs. I just pulled the coil packs and not a drop of oil on them. Seems to do the trick! I drive it hard both city and highway. Stuff is legit.

  • Keeping an engine and driveway clean.

I've been watching Scotty Kilmer Channel on YouTube for a very long time.one of his shows was about ATP 205. I used ATP 205 in my eighteen year old 1500 Truck with over 100,000 miles.I notice the bottom of my oil pan is much cleaner and no more oil on my drive way.Great product and a great way to keep an old truck on the road.
