Why the NOCO GB70 is my favorite booster
In every review I've read they never mention one of my favorite features: built in heavy gauge cables. Very powerful unit and can jump cars with completely dead batteries for weeks without recharging, but the most dramatic jump I ever got out of it was with a completely frozen solid battery in Alaska at -25 below. It was hard to start, but the fact that it actually got it to start puts it on a very high pedestal for me. Great compact (for a jumper of this power) jumper with heavier duty cables than any of the detachable cable types have and NOCO needs to make this a feature on some of their smaller models too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Must have Tool!!!
Wow!!! This battery jump starter from noco worked flawlessly!!!! Had a v6 Ford Explorer that sat for some time and battery had drained to the point that even the interior lights would not come on. Hookup was simple and straightforward. Car started immediately with no excessive cranking which is a great indicator that the noco box had plenty of energy to crank it over quickly. Wish I would have purchased one earlier. Hope this review helps anyone that might thinking about buying this unit.

This is the best jumper pack I've ever used, and the that fact much less anybody I have seen use. This is amazing, I bought the 1000 first and it started a car that was sitting for over a year that my dodge Ram wouldn't even start. Heavy Duty
This is the third NOCO GB70 that I have bought. Two were for my kids and then I just got this one. It may be a little more "heavy duty" than I need for passenger cars, but I would rather be over than under-powered. I have had to start two different cars on separate occasions, 8 cylinder and 6 cylinder and it worked quickly and easily, and I was driving down the street yesterday and a gardener was standing by his small pickup with the hood up and jumper cables in hand. If you want to do it right.
All others...well, good luck. This one does 8cyl Pedro and six liter diesels. Very safe. Shock and reverse wiring protection. No worries for wife or kids or me for that matter. Very small considering. It has more cranking power than I expected. Many or most things embellish their quality or strength. This comes exactly as promised.
