Its ok but i wouldn't call it chef quality. It does a nice job however, just need a bit of practice to get the timing right. All my knives are sharp now big and small. Not a bad item for the home kitchen. I would not recommend it for professionals. First time I used it, after sharpening 5 knives as per the instructions, the motor would not restart until it cooled down. 5 minutes or so. The sharpener is better than others I’ve used with the guides giving a good consistent edge. The only issue I have is that it cuts out after 2-3 minutes of use. I believe I read that before buying but decided to purchase anyway. So it’s a good machine but don’t sit done expecting to sharpen 5 knife without a break. It basically allows enough time to sharpen one, then have a 3 minute break and use again. So make yourself a coffee between knives and it’s fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
