The 3M tape is a quality product that is easy to apply and appears to stick what I want it to stick quite well. Don't make a mistake or you will most likely have to start again with fresh tape because once stuck its stuck. What a beauty
It sticks strongly to just about anything and withstands the rigors of temperature, sun and water in the tropics (Cairns) without any problems. Over and above its obvious uses, I have used it to repair a hypalon inflatable boat (where specialty tapes failed) and in hoop and loop (Velcro) applications. I buy the sew on hook and loop material and if I want to have an adhesive backing, I use this tape. Why? Because the adhesive on the cheaper materials is useless, specially in the outdoor heat (just melts) and the ones with the good adhesive backing are prohibitively expensive.
