  • GTX970 STILL A SUPERB PERFORMER

The GTX970 Display Adapter by ASUS will handle just about anything you can throw at it. I do flight simulation, a graphics processor hog of a piece of software, and this card loafs. While the 4GB memory is now less than currently available, it will do the job. Most games should roll along with almost max graphics settings. Again, the 4GB memory limit is now old tech, but fast and reliable for most applicatiions.

  • Play the most demanding games at 1080

At this point I have only downloaded 4 games from my steam list. Game that run at Ultra or highest settings. Rust, Fallout 4,Borerland Presequel, Just cause 2, Bioshock infinite. These play without a hitch 57-60 fps Balls to the wall fast. I almost chose a gtx 960 4 Gb card thinking about cost incurred, Did some research and found 970 to be the better option by quite a bit. Better temps, more fps. Love this card Paired with Asus Vs278q-p27 fed with a Display port cable.

  • A great card for gamers on a budget.

The 960 is a great card if you want to play graphically intensive games but you're on a budget. These can be had used for under $100 if you're patient, and when paired with a decent CPU like a 3rd or 4th gen Core i5 can still play many A rated titles surprisingly well. When you're building a gamer machine and can't afford new, getting a used 960 or 970 is definitely a viable alternative. All this is, of course, just mho...

  • Satisfied.

It was overheating when i got it. Had to reapply thermal paste to the GPU, however once that was done, it ran cooler and still runs nicely. Can't complain at all really. These cards are getting old, so its common for the thermal paste to dry up. I felt like there should be a small caption or caveat for people who aren't aware of things like that. It may save time or energy. Other than that one gripe, the card seemed very clean and works great. Thanks!

  • Good gpu, can handle every new release I have bought so far. Still outstanding 2022 for its price.

Great product, works good, tested it on games such as fortnite which had 45 FPS on average with maximum quality settings, and Minecraft it worked very well averaging 180 FPS, and with shaders and mods 35 FPS.

  • Pushes 4k at 60 fps No problem - 50" TV

Using it to play Wow classic as primary game. Maybe Skyrim later. But on Classic settings are on lvl 8 with solid 60fps with verticle sync turned on. Playing on a Samsung UHD 4k 50" TV and this card pushes amazing graphics in 4k. For a used card under 100 bucks, can't go wrong with the 970 GTX

  • Great deal in 2021!

Considering that good/modern graphics cards are hard to find and expansive, the Asus GTX 970 is a great deal, especially if you can get it out the door for less than $200. With this card, you can play modern games and hold out until the GPU market stabilizes.

  • Great performance for 1080p gaming

Works very well for 1080p gaming (GTA V, MGS V, and Witcher 3 don't stress the GPU with almost everything maxed except AA). If you are looking to do 4k, I would recommend a beefier card, but this thing will probably perform well for quite a long time.

  • Still kicks in 2022

Still a very solid card in 2022. You mag not be able to max everything out. But this card still packs a punch in 1080p. Overstocks really well also. If you can find one at a decent price given the gpu inflation. Snag it up until the gpu shortages are taken care of
