This doesn't seem to give reliable readings and won't take enough measurements to allow for useful apnea information to be collected.
It also feels cheap with poor software both on the device and with accompanying downloads.
An example of its flaws:
It claims to be able to log straight to a pc but, the only connection the user can access to plug in is also the connection used for the sensor.
I use Oscar to rate my CPAP therapy and tweak it to be more effective. It is possible to add the data from the spo2 meter to the Oscar report and verify the effectiveness of any changes I make. It helped reduce my AHI from 35 on auto settings to 6 and still tweaking the settings . I recommend any sleep apnea sufferer to use this approach. Its saved me months of waiting. it does take a little effort to learn how to use it but I think it’s worth it.
Cannot be programmed to start recording at a specific time
The oximeter cannot be programmed to start recording at a specific time and the menu is complicated .The device would be better to have one button to start recording than to navigate inside menus and submenus
