Expensive and a bit tricky but does the job well
This an incredibly expensive but otherwise worthwhile product if you have a Sony TV that doesn't have the standard VESA mount holes. I can't remember whether the original packaging for our TV contained the wall mount assembly or not, but I suspect not as I'm a bit of hoarder and wouldn't normally throw away anything I could imagine needing in the next 50 years. The main thing to note about this product is that the paper template had the wrong relative positions for the two brackets that you screw into the wall (I have a 50" KDL-50W929B). For a better idea of how to drill the correct holes for the brackets, watch the YouTube video by moochierocks - search for "Sony W829 Wall Mount". Also make sure you look after all the screws provided in the assembly, plus the ones from the stand. Lose any and you're in trouble! Apart from that, while it can take a bit of time to get your head around it (I'm not much good at DIY myself), once I fitted the brackets, stand, and the things that keep the bottom of the TV away from the wall, the result is really excellent and very solid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
