Easy installation
I implemented initially 6 of these replacing my halogen transformer and globes to be sure of the quality prior to proceeding with more than 80 others. The product is of great quality and it was with ease of installation I write this review. I had no failures and the I used the same 240/24V connections from the halogens so no other components are required if you are switching from a Halogen to a LED transformer. I thought about the LED retrofit globes, they are cheaper (by a few dollars) to install given you only replace the globe as they work off the Halogen transformer however the replacement cost when the globe blows is higher so essentially I decided to replace the transformer and globes to save on future replacements.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

OK but with limitations
The electrician was complaining that the wire terminals are too small for my wiring as they are push on type not with screws and he had to modify the wiring to be able to use these dimmable transformers. "Doesn't fit all Light Fittings"
Unfortunately these lamps are longer than other MR16 lamps on the market that fit for example the CROMPTON gallery track light TR19T units. They look OK in the photo but have a different reflector profile than other MR16 lamps. I'm stuck with the 5x LED's I ordered and unable to use them. Happy with this product. Works on 2.5W led (×2) replacement for halogenl(20W X 2). I have to say the internal connectors for L/N are slim. My electrician had to use connectors(bunnings) with some red and black wires to join mains to transformer. Not a big deal . The transformer is perfect.
