The Spektrum AR610 receiver is an advanced six-channel receiver suitable for installation in and control of any remote controlled aircraft, from small parkflyers to near full-sized .90 sport aircraft. With a weight of only .3 ounces, the Spektrum AR610 can fit into almost any model aircraft. Six channels are available, so some accessories and other options can also be controlled, from retractable landing gears to onboard camera mounts. Capable of receiving a signal from a transmitter up to a mile away, the Spektrum AR610 can provide any RC pilot with safe and effective control to the limits of the visual range. This makes the Spektrum AR610 an excellent option for any hobbyist looking to build their own plane or just upgrade their existing machine.The Spektrum AR610 is a DSMX receiver, making it instantly compatible with all DSMX receivers. DSMX is a highly respected standard with full 2048 resolution, preventing interference and imprecise controls at a distance. It is also a DSM2/DSMX backwards-compatible receiver, enabling older DSM2 transmitters to be used. This makes it more versatile and allows it to be installed and functional even in some older aircraft. With a full six-channel setup, it is equally at home in airplanes or helicopters. It features sufficient channels for the control of all relevant surfaces as well as a few other options to be plugged in as needed. The unit is also versatile regarding control schemes, being able to accommodate both three- and four-channel control systems for planes.Where this model shines, however, is its ability to accommodate accessories and other options on an aircraft due to a large number of controls it offers. Good RX - Plugs not easy fit!
Spektrum Rx is a good product. No questions there. Unfortunately the case designers at Spektrum often tend to design the plastic case or housing too precise. Non of the various servos' connectors in my possession fits into the RX without pushing the side of the housing out. This scares me since I have seen cases where the plastic cracked under a full set of connectors's pushing the side out. Same problem is with the Spektrum 5e Tx. Advertised to work with rechargeable batteries but the battery bay is also just fractions of a mm too small. So, one has to always file the servo connectors slightly down to avoid a possible crack in the Rx casing, sometimes even to just be able to get them plugged in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
