You get what you pay for
These telephoto lenses that go on the end of your lens instead of between the body and lens are bad value, they make crisp focus virtually impossible, tend to leave smeared image quality around edges, and don't even have appreciably better zoom than my lenses. It works a bit better on my 18-55mm lens than my 75-300mm lens--- at least it focuses decently on the smaller lens--- but if you're looking to reach out and get close ups I'd recommend another lens 10 times out of 10.
