Perfect for Dehydrating
I absolutely love this dehydrator and use it daily. It hangs over my sink in front of a great window for ventilation. Its as easy to use as can be and clean up is a breeze in the dishwasher. One main feature I love is NO BUGS on my foods. I have dried some very bug loving fruits and meats and not one bug permeates the covering - but lets air move freely. Just bought another one today. Very disappointed. Not exactly what I thought.
I thought there would be white plates under each tray for germinating seeds. How disappointed I was to see that there was none. The only tray you can use for this is the bottom one, and you cannot use it in the food pantry solar dehydrator, either. You have to put it on your counter or wherever you have a place to put it! Just not in the solar pantry. The other thing I don't really like is the way the zipper opens. Instead of opening from the bottom to the top, it is opening from top to bottom. I don't like this at all. I guess I will get used to it with time. But for now, it is annoying. On the plus side, the service was very good, and the delivery was accurate. And when the solar pantry is open, the size is perfect, not too small nor too big. And when it is closed, it doesn't take too much place. That is a good thing. I am none the less very disappointed for the missing part (5 full plates to put under the 5 trays) to be able to grow sprouts like showed on the box in the pictures. :-(Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Dehydrator
I will not be able to use it till 1st of the year due to many things going on at this time of season. I've used dehydrator's before. I really like it & like that it will use no electricity. I know it will be easy to clean. This is a good way to do your food & kids like it.I did some apples & took a pack of cherry jello & sprinkled the powder over the apples & they turned out great & kids love them as I do to.
