Having the dual connection is a great idea.
To be able to plug this device into your pad or phone as well as your computer is a great idea. However when it came to transferring files it has a few hiccups. If you a simply loading a single file, ie movie file, it is fine, but if you try to download a few files at the same time then it has a hissyfit, slows down to kilobytes per second and sometimes stops all together for a while before it makes up it's mind to start again. Originally I thought it was my computer but tested another usb 3 stick and found that was a lot better and faster and when downloading 3 files each file was done at a speed in excess of 7 megs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
