Other than the weight penalty.
Other than a weight penalty, I cannot discern between my Scott Addict w/DA9000 Controls/Nokon cables or my Scott CR1 w/DA9000 Controls/DA9000 cables! Super slick and no discernible drag! If you are not that concerned about the weight of the cables, they are a great long term solution!

New shifter cable replacement.
I had to do a complete shifter cable replacement after riding in all weathers, so I pushed the boat out and got a top end set. Now the shifts are smooth and precise. If I get a good few years out of them, I would consider it a wise perchase.
