Get 4G in an area without signal
I live in Pacific Grove, California by the ocean for the past 14 years. The best service provider here has been Verizon, but since I live a few hundred feet from the ocean, the signal strength is almost non-existent. Until recently I have used a 3G Network Extender but when I purchased my Samsung Gear S3 Smart-Watch, it only works with 4G Networks, thus I had to purchase this product. it was extremely easy to install. Simply plug it into your Internet Provider's Modem, place the Network Extender near a window (if that isn't possible, there's an extendable cable for the antenna). Call Verizon and tell them the MAC Address from the sticker on the device and plug it into power. Much too complicated to set up.
I have been dealing with computers for years and this device is beyond me. I have not been able to get it working on my network yet. I have had me son to try to get it going and he has a degree in Computer Science and it gave him a hard time and he gave up on it. The main problem is that it requires so many ports to be open or closed or open at a certain range that it is not able to be set up by me or my son. Quick, easy, and effective
The Verizon LTE Network Extender was easy to install, and very effectively provided coverage to our ~1900 sq. ft. single-level home (with basement). I really wish it could provide coverage for multiple carriers, but Verizon is the most common among our family and friends, so it should cover the majority of our needs. This works!
Previously fought with a WeBoost for two years, never to get it "tuned" in right. This 4G LTE unit from Samsung works great. Easy set up, adjustable power level, and the most important part, it can HAND OFF to a tower when you leave its range. Works great and the price was right used for $68 verses $550 new.
Installed this in my basement on a beam next to the basement ceiling. Am sending along a picture of the unit itself and of the GPS antenna on the outside of the house.I purchased the GPS antenna with a 25 foot cable on it so I could install the antenna outside the house for Satellite reception and the range extender in the center of the house inside. I get four bars on my cell phones every where inside the house. Beats having to go outside in the cold or the heat in order to gain access for talking on your cell phone

If you are a Verizon customer, and looking to improve your cellular I highly recommend this extender. It’s simple to setup ( requires good internet speed) and it works great. I had 1 or 2 bar before installing this network extender, now I have full bar throughout the house, even outside my house on my street and backyard. Verizon discontinued 3G, so I had to get a 4G phone and network extender. The manual states this unit requires a hi speed internet connection, and my DSL speed was way too slow. Wish I had purchased this sooner! Had a 3G extender but after getting new phone I was having all sorts of issues. Took the phone back 2 times and was on tech support calls twice as well, thinking it was the phone. Funny thing was when I wasn’t home the phone worked great!
