I had no idea what it was capable of!
The price was outstanding considering that costs $150 on Motorola's site. It's easy to attach and operate. I wish the lights would stay on during song play like a boombox, but it's not a big deal. It also has a feature that I don't remember seeing advertised: Syncing to an external Bluetooth speaker, like my now 1 yr old car stereo system that I can finally sync music off my phone for the first time ever! AND communicate with Alexa through my car stereo/ smart speaker hookup to ask whatever I generally ask it at home, or look up & listen to other music. Pretty cool! Works just like the brand new Alexa Auto gadget! With the speaker attached, it gives this is very slim phone a better fit in your hand, but I am having a hard time trying to find a protective phone case that will fit with the speaker attached and not interfere with the magnetic properties that hold the speaker to the phone. For now I'm using a transparent colored gel case which I turn around to cover the screen when the speaker is attached. the phone screen is sensitive enough to read my touch through the gel case and I can operate my buttons I just can't do my fingerprint. This way I can put my phone face down with the speaker attached and not worry about anything scratching my screen. It would be nicer if the magnetic contacts on the speaker were set out more so that it can connect to the phone even with a case attached. I am using cases that have the cutouts for the camera and magnetic contacts. I have bought three so far they don't fit the mod. But I'll keep searching LOL!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Failed to charge, works otherwise
It is solid, you know when you have it connected to your phone... I don't know if it is because of my phone's age but even when TurboPower charge is active, it will not charge... was charging for 16 hours and never got above 10%. I dont see me using it because of that.

The whole "Alexa" program is absolutely worthless to me, personally. I like to look stuff up and shut lights off and whatever...
No desire to sit on my shoulders all day and have some AI skunt change my music and tell me how many midgets are in the G'damned Wizzard of Oz. Other than that, this speaker is slick as heck! price to performance
if i had paid the original $150 cost of this thing id be pissed, audio sounds tinny, its not easy to take off the back of the phone, and the alexa functionality is tied to an app that isnt compatible with my phone even though my phone is only a generation or so old. That being said I actually paid $15, and for that price its about what you would expect if not a little better, you slap it on and the phone plays louder music out the back of it, no fussing with bluetooth, music is loud enough to hear over the highway in the car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

wonderful extra for your Moto Z series phone. I would not have paid suggested list price of $149 but this at one third the price is an exceptional value. I came in a plain white box, which I threw away. The Alexa mod was without any blemish. Having fun playing my music, phone calls great to listen to and all the features of Alexa anywhere. Great sound and value
For buying this secondhand and with a sub 20 dollar price point I was preparing for the worst but so far I have nothing but praise for this product. The sound is Rich and the music is full of bass, mid and treble but Alexa is slow to respond relying on my z3 plays app way heavier than expected but it's still an Alexa smart speaker so beggers can't be choosers will recommend for a mod that can be used independently of the phone
