Unlike a trackball mouse, I am finding the Logitech Vertical Mouse is intuitive, and easy to drive. I find the mouse is comfortable for prolonged use, without experiencing fatigue or discomfort. A good idea, but the button placement is less than ideal. There are better ergonomic mice out there.
I bought this mouse to try out a replacement for our ancient three button vertical mouse. On unpacking, the instructions were confusing and inaccurate, however it was easy enough to figure out. There are three ways to connect this device; by USB cable (included), BT, and wireless (dongle included). On installing in Windows 10, Windows will offer to download and install Logitech's management software, and I let it do that. In Windows 7, you will have to download and install yourself. Then it came time to choose a button to designate as a double-click. I cannot use Windows without this indispensable featre. But if the four programmable buttons, none of them worked very well in this regard, and in fact two of them were out of my reach. I've put this product away again for emergencies. Take some getting used to but an awesome device for those with tenosynovitis!
I suffer from chronic the dequervains tenosynovitis and my wrists don’t allow me to use a regular mouse easily any more. This new mouse places my hand in a great position taking the strain off my wrist. Comfy, smooth operation, reduces pain.
Doesn't take long to get used to the vertical shape- maybe a couple of days. It is very comfortable, and within a week completely resolved some quite sharp RSI pain I'd been experiencing for awhile. A good comfortable mouse overall
If you have bigger hands, then this one will suit you well. Having said that, its compatible for all. Though you find it a bit uncomfy for the first 2-3 days just because you are not used to holding a mouse in this position, later on, you will realize how comfortable it is and your hands or hand muscles doesn't feel any pain like your traditional mouse usage for long hours. It is pricey, but if you look at the comfort and advantage it has on your health, its work putting a bet on it.
