    NetGear WiFi Range Extender

Works OK. I was also purchasing to get WiFi Streaming videos at a faster rate too. Hasn't worked that much better. Does extend the range though. Great product & name brand for me.

Netgear EX6100 AC750 WiFi Range Extender 802.11ac, Dual Band, Ggabit, WallPlug

I have AT&T high speed wireless internet provider with Net gear wireless router which is installed in first floor office of my 2 floors "Forester" house. I wanted to improve Wi-Fi signal in second floor. Advertised manufacturers features promised to extend and even make signal stronger in my living area. Bought this Wi-Fi extender with excitement... After easy instructions and installation I been trying to achieve best possible location for this extender in second floor. The receiving signal could not reach the EX6100 Wi-Fi extender in second floor. So, I moved it back in to first floor were the signal was the best (aprox 50 ft from router). Wi-Fi signal strength little improvement was noticeable only in first floor.

  • NetGear Range Extender - not so much.

I bought one of these and wasn't pleased with the performance, so, returned it. Thinking that some of the problem might have been pilot error (since I had never used one before), I re-purchased it. This time I know it wasn't user-error. Thirty feet away, I only had three bars on my wifi signal when I was getting two to three bars from my router some 60+ feet away. My router and 16-port switch are both NetGear and I wanted to stick with that brand. I wonder if all range extenders are this bad?

  • It does the job.

I've been using this product for a couple weeks now and so far it's working well. It can be used as a wifi extender or as an access point. I am using it as an access point. Setup was easy. The unit itself seems to be of good quality. A little bigger than I thought it would be but still smaller than your typical wifi router/AP.

  • Good internet range extender

This is a good internet range extender, the second one I'm using in a big house. Only issue is not having the option to name the receiver during the set up or to going back and reset it with an appropriate name to deferentiate between the two receivers/extenders I'm using around the house.

  • Good quality and range

The only thing I didn't like about this item was the difficulty in setting it up. Other than that everything else about the item is excellent. The set-up has nothing to do with the seller. The manufacturer is the only one to blame in this aspect. The set-up instructions leave a lot to be desired. Netgear has a lot of room for improvement here. Following their instructions took many attempts before I was able to get my Wifi Router to recognize the Range extender. I was ready to give up by the time I got it to connect.

  • NETGEAR EX6100 AC750

This model is not as easy to use as the old models. The WPS switch will connect but not in secure mode. You have to go to mywifiext.c0m and set it up manually. After that it works OK. The range is not as good as my old WN3000RPv2.

  • Netgear AC750 WiFi Range Extender

Works excellent; but it does cut you speed down 40 to 50%. But that wasn't a problem at all for my use, especially when I couldn't use my equipment in that area at all prior to hooking it up.

  • Easy setup

I thought my Netgear AC1750 router was going to give me better range than my previous Linksys N router, but when it failed to live up to my expectations, I researched range extenders, and the Netgear AC750 seemed to be the best option. I have not been disappointed. It immediately took my router signal to the highest level (5 bars), and provides terrific download speed. I give this unit 5 stars!
