Small and powerful.
This little machine is great among those of us that use it for building our own Plex media servers or PFSense network routers for home use. It isn't necessarily the fastest machine in the world but it is powerful to run pfsense. Also, when using it for Plex it utilizes the Intel Quicksync technology for transcoding media to people connected to the Plex server for content watching. It works well and can handle 20 or more transcodes using Quicksync from a single HP290 machine. Small in size and big in power. Again, not fast but powerful! You wont be disappointed when purchasing this machine a for any of your home technology projects that need a little extra kick in the pants.

OK but not great quit after 2 months
The HP is about what you can expect in this price range. It is fairly quiet and functions well If you want more ram be sure to order it installed before you buy the machine.It is virtually impossible to add more later since the unused slot is hidden under the hard drive.

amazing deal
Probably one of the best deals I've ever gotten on eBay. Amazing price for a good general-purpose computer, complete with Windows (Home), a budget keyboard and mouse. Great for an extra computer for family members to use. With HDMI you can hook it up to a TV if you don't have a spare monitor around. Upgrade options are limited and require a bit of disassembly but can still be had.

Small with options to upgrade.
This computer is great for various computing needs. You can use it for a cheap Plex transcoding box as I am vs buying a P2000 or other cards. I recommend putting a SSD or NVME in as the stock HDD is slow. For the price it basically can't be beat for its use case.
