Ideal to replace 10 year old smoke alarms
This alarm has the same base as the 10 year old ionisation type that were due for replacement, model 755SMA. A smoke alarm that is competitively priced and appears to be well designed and made. It needs to be permanently wired into a 240 volt (light) circuit by a qualified electrician. Backup battery is not long-life and needs replacement about once a year. Easy installation and well positioned 'Test' and 'Hush' buttons.
