Laptop as good as new after battery replacement.
As far as I can tell, it is a genuine battery. It's a pain to change out but that's why Apple charges AUD289 to replace it. It took me about three hours all up and only paid about $85 for the battery. I think it was worth the exercise. Bear in mind that the battery I received was actually manufactured six years ago. At first use, it only showed 87% of its rated capacity so I thought it was a dud. Since then, in the last month of regular use, it has recovered somewhat and is now showing in a range from 92 to 97%.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
