Very Portable, Lightweight & Sounds Good -- I like it!
This is a very nice portable battery powered speaker that handles many of my gigging requirements. It is surprisingly light for how solid it feels. It has plenty loud for anything I will be using it for and the sound is nice and clear with plenty of controls for adjusting the sound. Right out of the box the sound is pretty generic for a powered speaker but it can be adjusted to sound really good. Overall I would recommend it. Something I wish it had: There is no way to hard wire a link to another EV Everse 8 speaker that would allow using the mixers in both speakers to be combined and used simultaneously to effectively double the inputs. You can use Mix Out from one of the speakers to send a signal to the other speaker but you are unable to use both mixers. Come on EV, other companies have provided this feature in some of their systems over the decades so it not something new to provide and it would greatly enhance this product.

I was not expecting the sound that came from this little speaker, I’m highly impressed with the quality of sound and functionality. I highly recommend this speaker. Portable, multi purpose, battery powered, easy to use .
