Not quite perfect for me
Glass allows great water level assessment, with or without internal lighting. Frosting hides lime scale. Easy to fill with a jug of filtered water. BUT... the spout does NOT allow controlled pouring of small volumes.

Plastic rim broken
I couldn’t work out why I couldn’t shut the lid, and it wouldn’t open without being pried. Took a while to figure out the inside the plastic rim split apart. Need to get a replacement, and don’t know how. I have purchased cheap kettles that have lasted longer than this one unfortunately. I thought Sunbeam was a good make.
