Small but effective.
I’m thinking about buying a second one of these because it works so well. It’s been great in a bedroom during this rainy humid season in Sydney, collecting about 1-2cmd each night when it’s turned on. Light option is good one for day and off for nighttime, it isn’t too bright. Nice and quiet unit. I’m only using in small rooms such as bedroom or laundry, would be good in wardrobe too. Works well, but noisy.
It seems fairly well designed. Materials used are very cheap, but functional, and it feels like it will last the year out. I'm not sure what conditions would have to be to remove 300ml of water a day. It is very warm and humid here, and I'm only getting half that rate. It does seem to still be effective. My biggest complaint is it is quite noisy. I measured about 37dB at 1meter away. This is distracting in a smaller room. A small problem
This dehydrate, it is great in all respects, except for one small problem . If the power is turned off from an external source, the dehydrate it stops. That’s understandable, but when the power is turned on again, the dehydrator does not activate unless the top button is pressed for my use. This presents a problem as the dehydrators are left unattended in a confined area. Frequently there is a power interruption and the dehydrators stop functioning. Fantastic items.
I now have four of these scattered around the house and in this humid weather they have been ripping the water out of the air .I wouldn’t be without them.They are very quite ,you can’t hear them,easy to empty,and also pick up fluff in the air .I’ve been able to get rid of the closet camels and the damp rid packs as these are a much better alternative and much cheaper in the long run.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
