December 2022 marked the 50th anniversary of the release of this album. There's a reason why Hot August Night is one of the biggest selling albums of all time in Australia. Everything about it is perfect. Not only are they great songs, the performance knocks this out of the park. Neil's voice is in fine form, the band don't miss a beat and the audience are loving every minute of it. One of the Best in the World
This is a top CD. Hot August night was well know since Neil Diamond played on stage.. There were people in trees as well listening to him. One of the all time classics. Upgraded my old tape to CD. Re-mastering questionable but I was burning in a new CD player at the time, so I'm not 100% sure which was the issue.
