a nice opening for a so so show
in this volume we have the five part movie opening for the show which ends the turtles war with the shredder teams them up with a new girl turtle venus as they must rescue there master spliter from there new enemy the dragon lord so a live action ninja turtles show not as good as the movies the main problem i had with this show is the turtles them selfs this take on them the turtles team are not much of a team they dont get along other turtles team like the 1087 or the 2012 do fight a little but still get along these guys fight to the point they cant stand to be with each other and just go off and get in to trouble on there own almost every week that turtle together thing is just not there also they openly hate humans way to much to the point that the show took the turtles to a place they should not be taken where if the trouble is not there problem then its not there problem unless the trouble is in there face they are not going to do any thing about it and the bad guys have fallen in to the same trap that some villains fall in to most of the time with superman i find all they are doing is going after the good guys and thats all they are not trying to rob any one or hurt them just going after the good guys dragon lord wants to eat them and thats all ( yes so he can turn in to a super dragon and take over the world but in the meen time he is just trying to eat them ) bonesteell who is a ok bad guy still is just trying to hunt them down and hang them on his wall if any thing the fact that he is hunting them is good because it meens he is not going after animals any more and then the i dont understand why they did not just make him baxter stockman guy just wants to cut them up and learn about them and shredder from what we saw of him just wants to kill them not use the foot clan to rob the city from the shadows the shows action and costumes are not as good as the movies but i can forgive that because they are working with a tv show bugget not a movies and i think they did alright with what they had and its sad there is no april in this show i meen come on whats a turtle show with out april i heard that there were talks about her showing up if the show had got a scond season but it was not to be the show does have some good points venus the new girl turtle is the one good turtle in the team she is great sad she does not get more love she chould work so well with a better team i know she chould because she is just like starfire from the old teen titans cartoon ( the old one not teen titans go ) so i know she chould work well and i like the fact the splitter has a human friend who can not see and does not know he is a rat he was a good part of the show ( yes i know they copyed from disney's gargoyles ) and i liked that michelangelo had his own pirate radio show that really fitted with michelangelo i thought and there were a few good ideas and episodes splinter trying to reform shredder was a good idea but they needed to do more about how hard it was for him to help the man who killed his master bonesteels intro episode was ok and it was nice to see the turtles try to help some one other then therm selfs even if it was just a normal turtle and when michelangelo had a costume party to get money together to help animals was a good episode and the opening east meets west had some good ideas to it i liked how when venus first tryed to teach them to dream walk her way they failed and its only by doing it there way like ninjas that they get to the dream world to save spliter and dragon lord the show new main bad guy is a lot more evil in that one then in later episodes and there are lots of little good ideas here and there all and all i dont think this show is all that bad as people say but its main killer is the four main turtles this take is close to what they should be but its bad not unwatchable bad but bad i think the show is ok but i do see why people dont like it still i think if you are a turtle fan it is worth a look and i do hope that we see starfire oh i meen venus again in some other turtle show
