A well built, compact sized lens that weighs next to nothing yet at the long end its the full frame equivalent of 400mm. With built in image stabilisation which depending on your camera can combine with the in body stabilisation to give you about 6.5 stops of stabilisation. I got sharp shots at the 400mm equivalent length handheld at 30th of a second consistently. My only slight criticism is if your shooting into the sun the images lack contrast but that's the case with a lot of lenses and it wasn't a deal breaker for me. For the price I don't think you will be disappointed.

  • Let the pictures tell you

Focusing can be slow but maybe that's an issue with me. It doesn't zoom in as much as expecting but I'm new to photography. Let the images do the talking. The last two are unedited.

  • Lovely jubly

The lens was good value compared to the next size down. It is nice to have a chunky lens to hold onto when stabilising the camera. Only issue I have is the turning is a little stiff for my liking but may ease over time. In terms of size vs body, no issues from me.

Great focal range and very compact for this size of zoom, that's why I like the MFT system.
