The movies are pixelated and are jumpy but what do you expect for the price.
I played these discs in three players and it looks like these where digital downloads that were transferred to DVD. Streaming movies from Netflix are better quality then these. That being said one online copy of the Star Wars movies cost $20 from any of the online vendors do $22 for the complete saga with bonus features is a great price. My son was more about seeing the story leading up to the latest movies then the digital quality. So if you want to get the story and you are not concerned about perfect picture then this is a good buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A kid again
Having been a star wars fan for the past 40 plus years, I was looking for replacement discs, the one's I had were played to death. When I received the 6 movie combo, I was like a little kid again. The picture and color quality was perfect, the sound was excellent. Overall I would have given a 5 but there was one thing that happened that I was not happy with. Now I don't know if it was a manufacturing error but at the start of A new hope disc 1 and on Return of the jedi disc 1, a camera image pops up for about 2 to 3 minutes. The 4 other movies don't have that icon on it. Overall I was still happy with the set and I would encourage any star wars fan new or old to buy the set.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It was good!
The movies are great (as I have seen them over and over for years), but I had a expected a more slick, sleek, professional looking product. It looked like someone had hooked the package up in their home. Good bang for the buck
What more can I say Only wish all of the movies were in here (Rogue I, a Solo story) Other then that good bang for the buck. But remember this is the new up dated version (4-5-6 A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, Empire Strikes Back) not the org pressing most of us saw in 77 this has all the added special effects in it redone by George Lucas.. Great content, some compatibility issues with one disc
Overall this is a great product for the price. Obviously the reason you get this is to have all the movies ready to watch when you want to. In our case, the FIRST one picked up (episode 1) was the only one we have had issues with playing. We have DVD and three BluRays and this thing would not load on most of them, and would not play all the way thru on the best of them. (That compatibility issue is the reason for the four stars instead of five.) The rest of the movies played fine. We have not taken the time to look thru all of the bonus discs, which is an appetizer only for us. Caveat emptor, however for this price to get half of these in working condition is worth it, let alone a set with the bonus discs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Huge fun
Huge fan of the old Star Wars movies episodes 1-6. We used to have episodes 1 and 2 VHS but our VCR stopped working and since it’s hard to find a good replacement for VCRs nowadays, I decided to re-buy 1 and 2 on DVD. it turned out to be a better price to buy a collection of all 6 instead the first two episodes individually. Fantastic and we'll worth the price I spent on the set
I can now see why this set is usually 70 and up, holy crap its good! All 6 of the first trilogies of Star Wars, with deleted scenes and best of all, both the altered and edited versions of the original trilogy and the unaltered unedited versions of the original trilogy that my dad saw in theaters years ago. 5 stars for this set indeed. Very Good Deal for Star Wars Movies
Discs came in good condition and we had no problem playing any of them. Very good deal. We only watched episode's 4,5 & 6 since I didn't want to confuse my kids with the horrible episodes 1-3.
