Price anchor for iPhone X
The iPhone 8's only purpose is to anchor the price of the iPhone 8. Why else would Apple keep using its ageing design? As a result, the iPhone 8 is almost indistinguishable from an iPhone 6. Apart from aesthetics that means a comparatively wide bezel and a screen resolution that is no longer competitive in the high-end smartphone segment. The iPhone 8's other specs are good or acceptable. The CPU stands out as being very fast, the camera is OK and 2 GB of RAM are sufficient - albeit at the lower end of what is an acceptable RAM size. Therefore my verdict is: if you don't mind the old iPhone design, try getting a good deal on an old 7. Or go for the iPhone X, which is better in every way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
