    Worthwhile upgrade, not difficult to install

    The price is right and the quality appears to be much superior to the stock units. I installed them myself on my 2021 F150 which we use to pull a small travel trailer. I first watched a few YouTube videos about the installation. FYI- You do not need to use a lift, or remove the wheels. You need a 15 mm and 18 mm wrench (combo & socket). Because my truck had the weight of a slide-out bed drawer, and a shell & contents, I did need to jack the truck up slightly to get the length of the stock shocks mounted to match the (banded) length of the new ones. Once all the prep was done, the actual work took about 1/2 hour. The ride quality is noticeably improved. I haven't towed with them installed yet but am hoping to see improvement in stability. Evidently Bilstein doesn't make front replacements for the '21+ models, but when they do I'll plan to do them too, but don't think that's a DIY job, not for me anyway.

    Bilstein 5100 2015 F-150 FX4

    Swapped these in and took the junk oem FX4 shocks out. The difference is night and day. Dramatically reduced the “skipping” or “hopping” that many FX4 owners experience on washboard type of bumps/surfaces. Highly recommend. 20min install tops.

    Great upgrade

    Replaced the OE shocks on my 2019 F-150 Limited after 32,000 miles. I do tow a trailer and noticed a night and day ride with or without the trailer , the ride quality is amazing. I would highly recommend using these over OE as an upgrade.

    Huge improvement in ride comfort

    Installed these on a 2016 F150. The stock shocks caused rough ride when there was no weight in the bed. I now have much better ride comfort and am not bouncing all over the place when going over bumps or driving on rough roads.
