  • Great camera

This camera is fantastic and the 18-55 VR lens is phenomenal! The Tamron lens is one of the best 70-300mm lenses on the market at this price point. I am very pleased with this product. I was also pleased to find that the other accessories were not just cheap items thrown in to make it "look" like a better deal than it really is. That being said, I have had an issue with this bundle, specifically the tripod is a little underrated for the camera and lenses. The tripod shakes a lot when at full extension.

  • Perfect: Reliable, Easy to Use! What's Not to Love?!

I wanted a second camera from my primary D3400 for two reasons: 1) as a backup and 2) so I could keep a zoom lens attached and at the ready to ensure I don't miss a moment when the opportunity presents itself if I were to have to change lenses. I chose the D3300 because it is less expensive than the other Nikons that are fully functional with the AF-P lenses. Having the D3400 as my primary camera means I have no learning curve with this one, and the price on the used market for this that is fully compatible with my D3400 accessories is wonderful. It takes great photos and is easy to use. This would make a great primary camera as well, in fact I probably would have ended up with this as my primary camera had I been on the market for it when I shopping and ended up with the D3400 - it just was no longer on the market at that time and I was brand new to photography and wanted a brand new camera. Knowing what I know now, and for the purpose that I have explained for buying this, I am thrilled to have bought this on the used market. I've used it as my primary camera in the month since purchasing just to run it through its paces and it functions as well as my D3400. (The photo shows it with a standard lens just for the sake of simplicity.) The lenses I have and can confirm work seamlessly with this camera: - Nikon AF-P 18-55 VR ( (came with my D3400 as a kit lens) - Nikon AF-P 70-300 VR (the kit lens is not VR, I sold my kit lens and bought a VR) - Tamron 150-600 Di VC G2 (Tamron model A011, specifically designed for the Nikon cameras from the D3300 and higher) - Tamron TC-X20 (2x teleconverter specifically designed to be paired with the 150-600 lens) - Yongnuo YN 35mm prime lens - Ultimaxx 6.5mm manual fisheye lens

nice camera works perfectly the reason i gave it four stars is because the LCD screen had a few more scratches on it that did not show up on the pictures

  • Very good value and received it very quickly

This was a gift and it looks very impressive. I received it very quick and I am sure she will love it. She needed a camera for a class in photography.

  • Not the best purchase

This camera somehow keeps eating through the sd cards.and or corrupts the data. I would not suggest buying a "refurbished" camera of this type.
