Solid extender if you can put up with some Netgear config software issues.
Solid extender that works with multiple routers. The downside is that Netgear config software is somewhat flakey and may require multiple attempts using cellphone app and/or web interface. Great value though!

Works well through exterior walls and low temps
Works very well being used in a detached garage to supplement an Apple HomePod Mini, 2 Insignia smart garage door openers and a Yale smart lock in the garage. Roughly 70 ft and 2 exterior walls separate the Netgear Router/Modem and the Netgear Extender. The extender is plugged in against the garage wall which faces 40 ft from the house, and the Router/Modem is in the house approx 30 ft away from that. Winter temps inside the garage are around 15 (F), summer temps around 80 (F) and haven't had any problems with it. Once in awhile the Router/Modem, Extender and HomePod are reset manually to ensure a good connection.
