Hard to beat these China tools.
You have the option of paying 3 or more times as much money for a big brand. I would do it too if I had too much money. Everything good except two things which are minor. One, I'm not sure about the backpack thing. The motor is a bit heavy and I haven't yet figured out the best way to sling it. Two, the steel blade didn't work all that great. The biggest drawback is the small size relative to the strings. You can't cut as big a swath. Also I have to laugh at the warnings about the sharpness of the blade. There are several caution messages, don't cut yourself when you install it. There is a nice plastic edge cover. But it's not sharp at all ! It is 100% dull. I probably will sharpen it and see if it works better. It will cut stuff as is. But I switched to the strings pretty quick. They are heavier strings than average weed wackers and work pretty good. Starts and runs very well, has plenty of power.
Starts easy and has plenty of power. I haven't used the string trimmer yet. I use it to cut sugar cane and to cut very heavy weeds in my cane patch. So far I'm using the blade that came with it. When the blade wears out I will replace it with a wood cutting carbide blade because when cutting the cane I get the blade in the dirt a lot which wears out a regular blade quickly. It is just the right size for my use. I am replacing a Tanka which never did run right and didn't have any mixture adjustments on the carburetor. So far I am very pleased with. Put together easily, all parts fit perfectly. Started up and ran great with plenty of power. Only issue or recommendation is that the harness needs to be more heavy duty/robust for this size of brush cutter.
