This premium sand flag that SAN HIMA offers to the 4x4 drivers, which meets Australian sand flag requirements in the Simpson Desert, is made of fiberglass with PVC coating to resist corrosion, rust and flex and more importantly, it can minimizes “whips” when your 4x4 is crossing sand dunes. The flag, which measures 30cm*30cm, features fluorescent orange with reflective yellow cross tape to maximize visibility.

Sturdy and good value
Well made item, good value for money. Its a sturdy piece of equipment, with a real good heavy duty spring, and also comes with a small mount as an alternative. Everything fits together nicely, there was a tiny bit of movement when you lock the ariel onto the spring ( the lock being an idea I quite like, making it easy and quick to attach/remove ) however a quick rap of plumbers tape soon sorted that. To be fair, it was probably fine without, Im just a bit keen when it comes to even the slightest movement. Would recommend this item and the seller, as the postage was super fast as well.

Must have for the desert or dunes.
Quality materials used in construction, haven't had a chance to go out in the dunes to test because of covid lock downs. Love the quick connect/disconnect, like a nitto fitting! Very good value for money, spring base alone would be half the cost, just like a UHF one. Can't go wrong with this buy.
