Strange Twist On the Original Douglas Addams Book
There are a lot of elements in this series and it's very much a linear serial. You can't skip an episode. Also, because there are so many elements that only start coming together after the half-way point, you need to be patient and not let the confusion drive you away. The flighty Dirk Gently adopts a more down-to Earth whiny sidekick who helps him investigate a kidnapping. Time travel, body swapping, and the most adorable shark you'll ever get torn in half by are all important elements in this odd but entertaining show.
