Notes2014 album from the Irish quartet. SONGS OF INNOCENCE is U2's most personal work to date, charting the band's earliest influences from 70s rock and punk rock to early 80s electronica and ambient music and giving insight into how and why the band came together. The album deals with themes of home and family, relationships and discovery and was recorded in Dublin, London, New York and Los Angeles and is produced by Danger Mouse, along with Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Declan Gaffney and Flood.

U2 evolves once again
This is one of those CD's you have to listen to a couple of times to realize how good most of the songs are. But its not the U2 of old and there are no hard rock songs on it. As they have so often its a U2 Cd where they have evolved into a different band. But there is not one bad song on this CD its just a different U2. I also have the following CD after this one and its also in the same vein as this CD. Very good songs but nothing hard rocking. Why most of the songs on these 2 CD's haven't been getting any air play is beyond me since they are in the same style as whats being played on the radio now but by a much better band (U2) then whats playing. If you like good music give this and its follow up a listen you won't be disappointed and I'm a U2 fan who has every CD stye have ever producedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
