Peak Age Lego Star Wars
Main draw for the set is definitely the Light up Darth Vader, but the tie pilot is a nice inclusion as well. Model is a lot clunkier than those of recent years, but that is to be expected. Only real downside is that the wings feel a little loose, but it’s no big deal. As long as you don’t grab it by the wing and shake it, they shouldn’t have a problem staying on. Build Time: 0.5-1.5 hours depending on age and experience. TLDR: If you’re looking for a display model, you’re probably better off with the getting one of the 20/18/2020 models. Durable and easy to build. However would like to see future models use more rounded blocks like Tie Fighter set 75154. Nice to see Lego designers get away from the blocky cumbersome wing boxes as this set uses a different attachment design for wing to body fastening..
