Goodbye Android
I have always been a PC type due to Apple's high prices,proprietary software and company philosophy. After 25 years of cleaning viruses, slow loading frequent crashing, I have surrendered to Apple and wish I had long ago. This iPad is fantastic! Loads fast, beautiful high def. screen and allows me to enjoy my Kindle books as well. If I were to have one complaint, it would be battery life. I will last about 6 hrs on average. Obviously reconditioned
This one clearly had battery/charging issues. Batter drains real fast and charges real slowly. It does not help that the provided charging block puts out too low an amperage. I still have my Apple iPad charger, though, so I at least have the correctly matched one. Even with the correct one, this iPad charges at least 50% slower than my original one I was replacing. Other than that, it has a very clear picture, near perfect screen, and operates as expected in every other regard...just a pain to charge so often.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Older doesn't mean useless
The ipad 3 isn't the newest kid on the block but that doesn't mean it still isn't a great product. If you are looking for an affordable tablet and don't need the latest greatest I highly suggest the Ipad 3. It works great and the battery lasts a long time. No flash and a little thicker/heavy compared to the newer ones but not by that much. I use my smartphones wifi access point to provide internet to it when I am out and about saving the extra costs of having to pay for an extra sim for the newer models.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent refurbished i pad. No difference from new
I have purchased i pads for work and personal use since the initial launch. I am now a fan of buying refurbished. This was ready to go when we received it. Aside from the unit being in good aesthetic condition, the most important aspects were present. It has a great battery life and I have as yet to be able to make any distinction between this one and the i pads we purchased new. It loaded my information quickly and has the same speed as the i pad 3 I purchased new. The apps also loaded seamlessly and we have put it to work and have no issues whatsoever. The ipad arrived 2 days sooner than expected. It looked brand new, The ipad itself is in great condition, screen and body are without any scratches. The battery last a long time. Ya get what cha pay for
I wanted the last iOS on an iPad and this was the most affordable option. At first I thought the battery was going to to have issues as it would lose charge very quickly and get very hot when in use during the first few weeks. It seems that over time, with my regular schedule of recharging and usage, the device seems to be improving, as I learn it's charge rhythms and keep it working. I am assuming this was engraved for someone's elder relative and was never in use anymore. I may check with Apple to see if they can improve the battery, but I'm pretty happy with the device. Worst iPad ever
I will never but refurbish again. The iPad takes a full day to charge and the battery last 2 hours. The screen blacks out, freezes and when playing again (which I only have one downloaded) it returns to the main screen while playing. I have one puzzle app it's hard to pull the pieces onto the screen very difficult to rotate pieces. I have one downloaded 3 things on it since receiving it. I have never had so many problems with a tablet. Rather go back to Samsung products. And to think I was going to get an iPhone.
