Great Super Robust Tablet that's the best value for money over newer versions
I was thinking I need the Tab Active 3, but costwise the Tab Active 2 fit my budget. Now though, I'm glad I didn't stump up loads more money for the Tab 3 as the Tab 2 is a great tablet, especially when system updated to it's highest OS. The rugged case is good but I need the Tab2 in a super rugged case as it's clamped to a land surveying pole, so will get all sorts of knocks, drizzle, dust, coffee etc The sketch pen is amazing as I often need to do small sketches on the side on my tapped data input numerals. Having the Tab2 camera right on the surveying pole is also a gain as I don't have to fire up a camera or phone to take on the go shots of features. Battery is great, long running, screen on mostly as I don't want to keep waking it up to type data. It is heavy, as I had to upgrade the pole clamp to keep the Tab2 in steady position, but it's weight is part of it's appeal of being super robust, a peice of quality in your hands, not a flexible domestic tablet for a third the price. The Tab2 is still an expensive tablet but the screen definition is lesser than the Tab3, however I can't tell the difference as the Tab2 screen is that good. A rare piece of kit that I will certainly grow old with rather than upgrade like all my other bits of kit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
