    All great except Remote

    Overall we love it! Our only issue is that the remote control has to be pointed Directly at the box or it won't work. Kind of annoying but we're getting used to it. The picture quality is outstanding and has more channels than our old Roku 1.

    I did not do due diligence in buying this product - the current operating system is 8.0 and is not available for this model, consequently many current streaming services/channels are not accessible. For me, it is SLING TV. Too bad, good paperweight though.

    Product was easy to set up and navigate. I would recommend not using the hdmi cable that came with it though because it kept telling me the resolution was too low. After I changed the hdmi to one I'd already had it has worked perfectly and had a wonderful picture.

    My daughter wanted me to get this so we could stream Netflix. I had no idea about how to use it or what it was. I love this item! So easy to use. It will pause what your watching, turn it off go back to the channel you are watching and it resumes right where u left! Love love love! Think I will buy another for my down stairs tv.     Roku 2 streaming

    I had the original Roku for years and liked it but I was unable to connect to certain streaming providers like YouTube with the Roku 1. I got the Roku 2 and now can access more streaming and it is great. It is a small, simple device. but does a great job. I have never had an issue with either of the Rokus that I have owned. One difference between the two versions (besides price) is that the original Roku had component connectors. The newer modules only have HDMI connectors so you would need an adapter to connect it to an older TV. I use it on a daily basis to access HBO-Go or Netflix streaming or now You Tube.

    I initially thought it was broken and had to find and stick the reset twice before I got it to work. I haven't had a problem with it since. Just write down your passwords for the different channels for when you want to make a purchase.

    Roku is cool!

    I had an old blu ray which was about to be not supported by netflix anymore so picked up the Roku. Crazy easy to set up and use and works perfectly! The older ones will support hdmi and analog audio out which is exactly what I needed.
