Projecta IC1500 is a great multiple use battery charger.
The projecta IC1500 is a great bit of gear. It can be mounted as a set and forget charger or used in the shed for multiple uses.Charge rate can be set by the user to charge four different rates from 2 to 15 amps so you won't need multiple chargers. Solid construction easy to use well designed
I would recommend this smart charger as it has resurrected 3 batteries of mine that were poorly maintained by an old charger. Simple to use but sophisticated in its capabilities.. "Projecta IC1500" equals "Set and Forget Battery Charging"
It's lightweight and compact unit but packs enough amperage to speed up charging time. During the cycle, you can see that the IC1500 is going through the different stages taking care of the battery. At the end of the charging cycle, the user is assured that the battery is fully charged via the unit's led indicators. The "Projecta IC1500" is an excellent product. This chargers main advantage over its predecessor (and some other manufacturers) is that the Amp output can be selected so a small agm or motorbike battery can be safely charged up to bigger batteries. Auto Charger
I wanted a charger I could hook to my Caravan Battery Bank and leave there. Solar panel charging sitting in the bush, Both Solar and vehicle on the road and 240 vac via the Projector when parked up in the shed. So far so good. It even rescued my 2 x 105 Ah batteries when I failed to 1. Plug into power when I got home. 2. Left the LED interior light on so had a slow leak and eventually got so low it went out. Tried to bring them back with my old battery charger (older Projector without rescue mode) Plugged the Projector IC-1500 in and came back in two days to a fully charged bank and the charger just monitoring the bank.
