Reliable
Installed in a Toyota Hilux 2017 under bonnet charging a century 110 AH Lead Acid Deep Cycle. Works fine, setup was easy and so far has been reliable and solid. Was cheaper than RedArc and does same job. Designed for the harsher under bonnet conditions. No need for ignition wire for this car, just connect to main battery and starts charging when alternator runs.

Another Excellent Projecta product
I have purchased a number of these Projecta IDC25 chargers into 4WD and caravans now and they are an excellent product. In my vehicle it has been subjected to a number of days of extreme summer heat over 40 degrees ambient, on top of the high engine compartment temperatures on an extended trip. The Projector got extremely hot to the point that I could have fried an egg on it while it was working flat out each day charging an auxiliary battery at 25 amps for hours - it never missed a beat. During that time I melted a few fuse holders within the engine compartment but the Projecta worked flawlessly. Quality converter for variable voltage alternator cars
This DC to DC converter has been designed well. It has all the features needed to connect up a second battery and let you know what is happening. It avoids the extra cost of displays and gauges and just performs the task required - keeping the second battery well charged and protecting the first battery from being run down. Great product to charge youre dual batteries. Works a treat in regulating and isolating your main battery and works awesome when charging off solar panel. This is an excellent product. I couldn't find anything else out there that does the job so well. It keeps my 300AH AGM Battery topped through the solar panel all the time.
