    I hope yours fits better...

Item arrived in excellent overall condition. My issue is that it doesn't actually fit my face properly. Whether that is simply intrinsic to my personal facial features - which seem quite 'normal' to me - or the lack of adjustment as designed by the manufacturer, I am not sure. Apparently it all centers around focal length, as I have a full field of VR vision if I allow it to slide way down my nose, which results in aching of the nasal cartilage for days after, even if using the system for less than an hour. Great entry level device, and as a result, it is lacking in comfort. But the VR experience is there, and if you want to experience what everyone is talking about, buying a used Oculus GO is probably the best way to get a taste. DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE FOR A NEW ONE! Instead, save your money and buy the Oculus Quest - but try a friend's Quest first, to make sure the VR experience is worth it to you...

  • Top critical review

Disappointing in some ways, but still worth the price.

The biggest limitation of the product is its low battery life, as has been mentioned in numerous review. Moreover, there are warnings if one plugs in the charger while using the product, there is danger of over-heating the processor. But for the pittance I paid, it was a good deal.

  • Missing Videos on Headset

The Oculus product, when originally purchased, includes many games and various types of VR examples/videos. For the product I purchased on eBay, all of those had been wiped clean. I was primarily interested in replacing my broken controller so I can use my alternate headset, but I was somewhat disappointed that these were all deleeted.

  • Awesome intro vr headset at a low ish price

I could not afford a real 6 degree of freedom headset to play games from my pc through. This has much better screen than ps4 vr headset (though lacks its 6dof and controllers) but is great for simple vr games and social apps (there aren't a lot yet). Watching 3d movies in it is very nice, though it will be better when the ability to share the 3d movie with a friend improves. the social media systems need 2d counterparts that people with just a laptop or a tablet can interact with as well. There is a noticeable "screen door" effect (like you are looking at a huge monitor through a screen). The effect is less than the ps4 vr. the lenses are fixed so its harder to find the 'sweet spot' to look through for the best effect but the headset is cheaper than average. i am glad i bought it. seems like it would be nice for an airplane trip (feel like you have lots of room around you when you really don't). but you will need an external battery. you cannot use it plugged in or it overheats (it still gets a little warm on the face plate). but you can use a battery to charge while using it and i have not heard it overheats too much. I would like to use it with steam vr, but the software to do it is VERY beta and flaky as all get out. I haven't gotten it to work for more than just movie watching, which I can already do via skybox or the built in gallary app.

  • Decent entry level VR

If you don't have a VR rig this is a great place to start and see if you want to invest in a higher spec device. Resolution isn't great, neither is battery life. But for the price you can get fairly good res and high FPS videos. Amount of content isn't great but that's mostly true regardless of device/Platform

  • Great for casual video viewing

The Oculus go is ideal for passive viewing of content from YouTube and any of your own streaming content using Plex or Skybox. 360 degree content is fun and the “big screen” experience at home really is convincing after a few minutes getting used to it. Screen door effect is minimal due to high res screens in the Oculus and enough airflow comes through to reduce fogging unless you are very hot but any fogging generally subsided within 10 minutes.

  • Best value introduction to Vr

I like it because it the headset is comfortable and doesn't seem bulky at all. The massive screen and Vr movies and free 360 videos keep me up all night sometimes.HAve a handful of games I love playing too. Downside is its battery, you have to remember to charge it daily before use for a few hrs. And graphically not as sharp as even a 2K monitor, though still a good watch for its massive cinema screen. • owned oculus dk1 and dk2. and this best vr i’ve seen so far.

i owned oculus dk1 and dk2 (development kit) you need a good computer to use them and ur still tetheted to the pc. then i tried google cardboard and pixel xl with google’s daydream. the hassle of puting phone in and centering before you can play. also limited vr experience and games are available in google play. oculus has way better games, apps & 360 experience. this device is not tetheted, lots of games, beautiful screen and has built in speakers. lots of fun!!!

  • Very cool but short battery life

My first foray into VR. It’s amazing how immersive it can feel when watching VR videos. The only complaint is the short battery life. For some reason mine doesn’t charge to 100%, only 98%. I can watch for only an hour-hour and a half at most then it dies. Also the front gets hot.

  • The Oculus Go headset was worth every penny and more

I enjoy the new way of seeing things. This has opened a world of entertainment. It did take some time to connect to my laptop and desk top computers.
