I've been a wave ceptor user and fan for years. They take some patience to set up for the first time but feel it is well worth it.
I'm typically a fan of the dive style but wanted something more refined. Although there are thousands of watches you might argue are more stylish, there is no rival to the wave ceptor (atomic) value. As well, so many watches look great but you simply can't read the tiny sub dials. Great from afar but not really practical as your eyes age.
I have several watches that are considered better engineered but wave ceptor are my work horse.
This is everything I wanted in a Casio Wave Ceptor Solar Radio Men's Watch. The brown tone and pearl are perfect for my casual wear.
THe only thing is getting the "day of week" to switch to English verses Japanese.
This purchase was an addition to 3 other Casio Wave Ceptors I owned. Solar power, shock and water resistance is my reason for buying the Casion Wave Ceptor Tough Solar watches
got this for my dad who loves the black version and wanted the brown one as an option for clothing. the watch is amazing for him since he does not have to set (I do the easy initial set up), change batteries, wind or even reset at daylight savings. highly recommended. !!
