    Great find

    This is a vintage DA 7800 shifter that is compatible with older Shimano Dura Ace drive trains. Item was pristine, shifting sharp like it is brand new. Seller was smart enough to know people searching for used vintage parts are usually looking for one component that has failed over time, so he/she made it available individually, not sold with an entire gruppo. Dura Ace components last a lot longer than technological advancements that leave them behind compatibility-wise, and fear not you can replace vintage parts with quality Dura Ace used parts online and keep you pride and joy bike running long into the future.

    Broken shifter

    Shifter does not work on two of the ten gears, skips or doesn't engage two top clicks. Basically worthless. Ended up replacing original non functioning shifter with Ultregra, at least it works.
