Well made, easy install, works well.
Bought this for a 500G SSD. Installs easily, works perfectly. This is a well engineered little box. It's plastic, but well designed, goes together easily, holds a 2.5" drive firmly in place. I got it to replace an Orico enclosure, which is about half the price but didn't hold the SSD so well, resulting in intermittency. Comes with a heavy duty cable -- USB Type A on both ends. Has an on/off switch, solidly installed with positive detents. But why? Not clear why I would want it. Haven't tested it for speed. A useful well made low cost item if you have a spare SSD lying around, or want to get one for an external drive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Was easy to set up solid LONG cable
As holders for HDD go this was easy to set up not a whole lot to it. Installing the HDD into it was very easy and nothing in the way. i like the light that tells me if its working, on or off. Most i have had do not have any indicator lights. Compact long connect cable too. Solid cable. Big help recovering archived files and saves time.
I bought this device to open a bunch of old IDE drives i had in storage so i could access the files and sort them out and clean out the drives. I was able to get all the old stuff i still wanted and erase everything else so i could recycle the drives and clear out the storage space for other things. The Sabrent worked great and was able to do the work without having to open up an old computer to hook the drives up 1 at a time.
